Vintage Printable - Whimsy Map

Free Vintage Printable

Another whimsy map...cute!
{Right-clip on jpg image to download/save...}

Tonight, after turning on the
faucet...no water!
Neighbors wander outside to
 check the water status of others...
No water for anyone!
17,000 are without
water this evening
in my neighborhood...

I run to the store to
get a few water jugs
and people were
already carting off
jugs and cases of water...
The shelves of water were
now empty...
{After I got a few jugs...}

The grocery store had
no running water either...

Boy, I would not be prepared if there
were a zombie apocalypse...
or actual emergency!!!

Hopefully, the water will be back on
in the morning...but, which is more
inconvenient to be without?

Water or electricity?

{If it was the middle of summer
here in Phoenix,
I would say electricity! LOL!}

*UPDATE*
Water was only out for 2 hours...
due to a reservoir pump.

At least I'm stocked up on water now...lol!

Many thanks for stopping by!!!

    ANY REASON given for NO WATER????? Sounds like you need to do like our grandparents & start STORING THINGS UP???? :) TO BE PREPARED for WHATEVER HAPPENS!!!!!!!! People REALLY DO NEED to THINK AHEAD!!!!!! ALL POSSIBILITIES!!!!!(Our grandparents did!) It's like having a FIRST AID KIT around! You HOPE things don't happen, BUT JUST IN CASE!!!!!! :) Better safe than sorry! :)
    INTERESTING IMAGE!!!!! THANKS PAMELA!!!!!!!! :) HOPE your water is back on SOON!!!!!! :)

    1. Hi Becky - A water pump was briefly out for restored within 2 hours. Of course, you start to realize how much you rely on water for many things...washing hands, shower, flushing toilets, etc...Good thing I wasn't in the middle of coloring my hair! LOL!
