Craft & Hobby Trade Show - CHA 2012

Welcome!

Here are some photos from the CHA Show
over the weekend that I attended in California.

Graphic 45 is one of my favorite paper companies,
it's always a busy booth at CHA.

I love how they dress up to coordinate with
their current paper collection.

This is the mother, Diane {G45 owner} with
one of her daughters {I think?}...
they are as nice as can be!

I was so preoccupied with so many
wonderful things to look at, I only remembered
to snap one photo in the G45 booth...

Here is a really cool vintage dress form
adorned with vintage photos.

Isn't it fabulous?

I just happened to see this walking down
a random aisle. This was some sort of
sewing or fabric company...

Here is the Tim Holtz booth...

Love the vintage!

One of the few things I collect are
vintage suitcases and I am
just loving this pile...
Do you think the convention security would
chase after me if I wheeled away these
old suitcases???

I love the new Trousseau collection
from Seven Gypsies...
{another favorite!}

Here is Tim Holtz doing a demo...

~~~~
Okay, it's time for a fabulous giveaway!
  7. Hi Pam! Great Photos of CHA! I have been visiting your blog I think for the whole two months and I have to say many thanks for the treasure trove of images I have gleaned from your work!! My favorite? That is a hard one, I love the vintage pattern gals and the biotanical prints! My favorite attribute of your offerings is that they are in transparent form as well as colored. I make a lot of Operation Write Home cards and I do all with hand coloring, no way could I afford to print these out in color!! Thanks again for your blog and an opprtunity for the blog candy! Hope you have many more anniverseries! Ginny from Maxam Made.
  11. Hallo Pamela, thanks for your lovely comments. This show must have been fantastic! I have promised myself that when the kids are a bitty bigger I will head off and see some of these. I too adore the old suitcases and huge old trunks that you can find and clean up (but not clean up too much).I think some of my fave vintage digis have come from you, the corset, the eiffel tower, that gorgeous rose from just the other day. I love the fact that you make them transparent as well, although I have finally worked out how to do that myself! took me pressing the wrong button to find the right button if that doesn't sound too wierd! Please keep up the wonderful digis as they are brilliant, have to admit not such a fan of the valentine ones, but that is probably cos I have several sheets of these already and have only used one image which I decoupaged. Hugs to you and thanks for all the fun. Heidix
    It's funny, I spent some time poking around your Booth 96 blog the other day and had no idea about your vintage image blog! The fine fellows you posted recently will come in handy today as I make Husband's birthday card (it's Sunday!). Thanks so much!
    Cheers,
  29. Picking a favorite is a very difficult thing to do because I like nearly everything, one way or the other. The "retro" images are fun because I remember living with most of them. Recently I have taken nearly every striped and polka dotted background. And then there are the roses. Who doesn't like roses? A great site and you are so very generous. Thanks.
