Another whimsy map...cute!
{Right-clip on jpg image to download/save...}
Tonight, after turning on the
faucet...no water!
faucet...no water!
Neighbors wander outside to
check the water status of others...
No water for anyone!
17,000 are without
water this evening
water this evening
in my neighborhood...
I run to the store to
get a few water jugs
get a few water jugs
and people were
already carting off
already carting off
jugs and cases of water...
The shelves of water were
now empty...
now empty...
{After I got a few jugs...}
The grocery store had
no running water either...
Boy, I would not be prepared if there
were a zombie apocalypse...
or actual emergency!!!
Hopefully, the water will be back on
in the morning...but, which is more
inconvenient to be without?
Water or electricity?
{If it was the middle of summer
here in Phoenix,
I would say electricity! LOL!}
*UPDATE*
Water was only out for 2 hours...
due to a reservoir pump.
At least I'm stocked up on water now...lol!

ReplyDeleteANY REASON given for NO WATER????? Sounds like you need to do like our grandparents & start STORING THINGS UP???? :) TO BE PREPARED for WHATEVER HAPPENS!!!!!!!! People REALLY DO NEED to THINK AHEAD!!!!!! ALL POSSIBILITIES!!!!!(Our grandparents did!) It's like having a FIRST AID KIT around! You HOPE things don't happen, BUT JUST IN CASE!!!!!! :) Better safe than sorry! :)
INTERESTING IMAGE!!!!! THANKS PAMELA!!!!!!!! :) HOPE your water is back on SOON!!!!!! :)
Hi Becky - A water pump was briefly out for restored within 2 hours. Of course, you start to realize how much you rely on water for many things...washing hands, shower, flushing toilets, etc...Good thing I wasn't in the middle of coloring my hair! LOL!

So sorry about your water situation! I hope you have water today!
