Free Vintage Printable - 1912 Postcard

Many Happy Days...
 Letters and postcards are a thing of the past...

Well, it's still fun to send {and receive!}a postcard from
a vacationing destination to a friend or
 relative who might appreciate it...

I remember waiting for letters to arrive from
random pen pals in the 1980's...those were the days!

{Back of postcard}
It cost a penny to mail a postcard over 100 years ago...
No zip codes yet.

Telephones were very rare in 1912, not all households had them.

Therefore, sending a postcard or letter
was the most common form of
communication via long distance...♥

If the message was urgent, then a telegram was sent!

Most folks met up face-to-face to visit...

It's interesting and fascinating how times
have changed over the years...

  3. Hi Pamela, This is such a pretty post card. I wish people still sent cards and letters. I still do. Visits were always fun to talk to someone. The phone just does not compare. Thanks for the image. Edwina Brown
