I use Georgia-Pacific white cardstock {110 lb} or standard
white everyday paper {usually brighter paper} in my HP
Laser printer for non-colored images.

I have also carefully printed various images
onto old dictionary or book pages for instant wall art!

For colored images, I have used an inexpensive
Epson color inkjet printer for some images, depending
on the project. They even look nice professionally printed
from a color laser printer {Kinko's or other local paper printer...}

What have you been using to print images from this site?

Such a sweet birdcage image...

I figure you've been BUSY!!!!!!!:) LOVELY BIRD CAGE & COLLAGE!!!!!!!!!:) THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I have a regular printer that my hubby got me when he bought me my lap top a few years ago. I haven't been printing ANYTHING lately. It's WI-FI & for SOME REASON we can't get it to work! It worked at one time! It's been this way since we got it---sometimes, it works but most of the time, it doesn't! :( EVEN IF, we connect them!!!!!!!!!! It's QUITE IRRITATING!!!!!!!!!! I just keep collecting pretties!!! :)

  8. These are wonderful!! Thank you so much! I have an inkjet printer and in the past when I printed things out from here I would either use white cardstock or regular printer paper. But then I was told after printed a very complex scrapbook page that the cardstock sucks up all my ink. So, I have been using matte or glossy photo paper. I still use cardstock if it isn't very ink intensive. But if I am doing a full collage sheet I might not use cardstock. And I definitely don't use just printer paper anymore! I've tried vellum, but my printer doesn't like it, and it feeds all wonky and gets jammed.

    Do you know if it's possible to use a workable fixative to seal an inkjet image so that you can put mod podge type 'epoxy' or diamond glaze type stuff over it? I made a super cute collage in a silver pendant frame and added a metal embellishment. As it dried, the image stayed clear. But when it was fully dry -- I can't remember if it was 48 hours or 72 -- I've only used it that one time, about a year ago, -- my entire collage had run together. I had an interesting blob of color and the metal dragonfly. It still looked cool, but totally not what I was going for.

    I love your site and have downloaded a lot in the past. Thank you for your generosity. I've been away much too long!
