Have you ever heard a canary sing?
It's only the male canaries that sing...
It's so beautiful and melodic...
{except when you're watching t.v.}
This one says,
"You're so tweet..."
{of course, canaries don't really talk}

You might like this sweet
bird in a vintage bird cage...
this would make a cute card.
I see bird cages like this
at many antique malls...
A very hot home decor trend!
{minus the live bird!}

THANK YOU, Pamela! This is adorable!
ReplyDelete@ Weva and Holly - Thank you! Bird images are fun! xo

They're wonderful, Pamela! I love anything to do with birds and birdcages! I had a pet bird when I was a kit...a budgie not a canary! Thank you for these! :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that I knew that not all canaries are yellow. At the very least, I can say that I "re-learned" it today...Thanks!!
ReplyDelete@ Nancy - I love parakeets! I always had one as a pet for over 20+ years. My favorite one was "Larry", he was an English Budgie...he used to sit on top of the cage all day and go back inside in the evening. xo

@ScrappyMama - I think I remember that they also come in pink too. Yellow and pink makes me think of lemonade...LOL! xo

So tweet....heehee, get it! I think I should stick to crafting and keep the comedy to the professionals! Lee x
ReplyDeleteI love these bird images. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeletePeople mostly have budgies here in Australia (my parents have one but it's not trapped in a cage - it just flies around the house ;)) I do remember my uncle had canaries though!
ReplyDelete@ Shannah - Is it true that wild budgies are flying all around in Australia? xo
