I think this might
be about 1880's Victorian era...
Dresses were about 15-20 lbs...
Lots of layers, a steel-boned corset, and a bustle!
People were smaller and they had smaller feet too...
Here are some essential rules of etiquette
and how one must conduct themselves
during the Victorian era...
~Do not stare around a room.
~Do not lay aside the bonnet of a formal call.
~Do not touch the piano, unless invited to do so.
~Do not make a display of consulting your watch.
~Do not indulge in satire.
~Do not always commence a conversation
by an allusion to the weather.
~Never make yourself the hero of your own story.
~The home is the wife's province.
~Ladies should avoid walking rapidly upon the street,
as it is ungraceful and unbecoming...
Quite useful, I must say...
Many thanks for stopping by!
