ViGNETTES in San Diego, California...

If you are ever in San Diego, CA,
be sure to visit "Vignettes"...

Vintage, French, Shabby...pure eye-candy!!!

It's located in the Ocean Beach area,
nestled along with other antique shops
 down a very busy street...

 Parking is crazy and hard to find...
Vignettes is worth the parking hassle indeed!

My second visit there...only enough time
to run in to snap some photos.

No time to shop with hubby waiting...
{LOL!}
Love the displays...

Nautical theme displays...

Shabby Paris-theme displays...

I found old, rusty metal drawers - $6 each
{sorry, no photo of them}

I was going to buy one,
but hubby would had asked,
"why do you need that?"

It would be something he
thinks should be tossed out...

UGH! :(
Love the dimensional accents on this portrait...

French and Paris-theme stuff...

Paris, Paris, Paris...love, love, LOVE!!!

Eiffel Towers in every size...

Random display in one of the rooms...

Glad I took photos,
so I can look at them...
or I'd be standing
there staring at the displays...
{wink!}

Vintage bisque dolls on old bottles...

More French-theme displays...

Vintage bust display...

Pretty display...

So, what did ya think of those pretty displays?
I wanted to look and shop for things...

Hubby dropped me off while he
looked for a parking spot...
then he found me in Vignettes!!!

Maybe I will have to take a
trip to San Diego without hubby next time...
ha ha ha!!!

  1. Oh! I love shops like this! There are so many cute ones in Clovis, CA over by my sister's Day Spa (it is her shop). I just love to go look...never bother to bring things home with me...my hubby is a lot like yours (or so it sounds). LOL Thanks for sharing the photos!

  2. Oh, terribly jealous. The shop looks amazing. And your photos have really captured the feel so well. I don't want to look too hard though because then I'll be sad that i can't go there myself. How gorgeous.

  7. Lord have mercy, Pamela! I can imagine you parking yourself in a beach chair with an umbrella drink, minus the sunglasses (they would obstruct your view) right smack in the middle of that store. Who needs the beach when you can enjoy this kind of scenery?
    Glad you had a great time. Thanks for sharing.
    Blessing hugs,

    PS - Doing a tutorial and blog hop this week for The Outlawz, which started today.

  9. I don't know how you were able to leave! That little table over in the corner, I would have hid under it... LOL. Not really, that sounds kinda creepy now, but leaving would have been difficult. What a heavenly place to get lost in. Thanks for the pictures. :)
